It’s Tackle It Tuesday again. I had planned to tackle the family room this week but our garage sale had to be postponed due to the weather. So, I tackled cabinets and closets. Our snack cabinet and can goods cabinet have been out of control. We’ve done a lot of coming and going the past couple of weeks. The kids would help me throw the groceries in the cabinet and/or grab a snack, shove the box up in the cabinet and make a run for the door. It was time for them to be tackled…no not the kids, the cabinets.Believe it or not, I only had 4 expired items. It was salad dressings. We haven’t been eating as many salads as normal so the bottles went to waste.
I also tackled both of the kids’ closets and the toy cabinet this week. I have three closets, the family room, and the kitchen left that haven’t been tackled in a while. The family room and kitchen are major tackles…they need painted and everything. Other than that, I’ll be tackling whatever else comes up.
I do have a question too. What are some improvements that can be made in a kitchen without putting out lots of money? We haven't done much to the kitchen since we moved in 6 years ago except add a few additional cabinets, put in a new floor, and replace the stove. We plan on painting the old ones and painting the walls. To see what others are tackling, visit 5 Minutes for Mom’s Tackle It Tuesday.

Great Organizing...looks good!! I love organizing my kitchen cabinets..then I can actully see what's in them...LOL
Best tip for an updated kitchen look....new countertops!! Makes a kitchen look nice and clean, and new looking for a very reasonable price!!
I'm thinking countertops and a new sink...then call it done! Oh, maybe some new light. (I went to Lowe's today and browsed a while...LOL)
