I was watching the local news this morning and saw this.
Several big retailers, including Macy's, Dillard's, Sak's and Nordstrom's, will be giving away free cosmetics today, as part of a settlement in a lawsuit that claimed the stores planned to fix prices.
Shoppers who bought the cosmetics between May 29th, 1994, and July 16th, 2003 will each be eligible for one free product. Don't have your receipt from your purchase? That's ok...you can still get your free make-up. It's said that you will have to sign a form stating that you did make the purchase.
Depending on the store, products from Estée Lauder, Clinique, Lancôme, Clarins, Guerlain, Givenchy, Chanel, Boucheron, Coty, Calvin Klein, L'Oréal and Christian Dior will be distributed in the giveaway.
The free makeup will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limit one per customer, while supplies last.

I use Clinque all the time and usually purchased them at Dillard's. I am NOT going anywhere near this today though. I think people who have never bought anything there ever will be in line for free stuff....lol. I'm not a crowd person! I hope you got something if you went though.
I use Clinque but there is no way I'm heading to the mall for one piece of makeup for free. I might be crazy...but not that crazy.
