If you aren't a member but have considered it for a long time (or maybe just since the economy got so bad) or just want to check things out, then use this one day membership (look for "Sam's Club Special Offer") to check out the club (expires 3/31/09). Then you won't be out any money. If you like the club, sign up for the full 52 weeks - save even more money!
Remember that they have the Collegiate Membership. It's a membership exclusively for college students. The student, even if it's yourself, must have a valid student ID and a college email account (.edu). The membership has the same benefits as the Advantage Membership. The cost is $40 PLUS you'll get a $15 Sam's Gift Card. It comes with two membership cards - give one to the student and the other is good for any member of the household over 18 years of age.
