Menu Plan Monday - 4/6/09


We didn't do too well with our menu last week. We normally eat at the time of baseball practice. We ended up having trouble with getting dinner ready before practices. Nobody was really hungry enough to eat. Eating after practices was too late. Who wants to eat dinner at 9:00? We are still trying to work on getting dinner on the table. Last week was a lot of - you find, you eat it whenever you're hungry.

Here's my menu plan:

Breakfast and Lunch options will be available all week. I do not plan breakfast and lunch for the weekends since it seems our schedules are a little too hectic for it. We do have fruit available for the kids with each meal and as a snack during the day.

Breakfast Options:
Waffles
Pancakes
Omelet/Scrambled Eggs, toast
Cinnamon Rolls
Cereal
Fruit Salad

Lunch Options:
Soup/Grilled Cheese
Chicken Nuggets, Fries
Bagel Bites
Corn Dogs, Salad
Salad, Fruit
Homemade bean burrito

Dinner (no options - you get what's cooked):
1. Breaded Jumbo Shrimp, pasta, broccoli, dinner rolls
2. Quesadillas (using up leftover taco meat and fixin's)
3. Dijon & Honey
Chicken, egg noodles, broccoli, dinner rolls
4. Chili
5. Easy Baked Manicotti
